Caregiving at the end of life involves much more than the daily hands-on tasks of helping someone who is terminally ill or actively dying. There are times when it can feel overwhelming and confusing. When you are an end-of-life caregiver you are providing emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical support for someone that you love at the end of their life. Being a caregiver for your loved one can be very fulfilling but it can be hard to take care of our own emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical needs. In this journal I have provided information about what being a caregiver is, information about self-care, and journal prompts to help guide you through this journey. You may want to have a blank journal or a document on your computer to write more than the amount of space provided. You will discover what works best for you.
